You can pick an emulator or a regular console game. The rules for this Nuzlocke.
No healing items, (except during the Elite 4.)
You can only catch the first Pokémon in each area, if they faint when you’re trying to capture them, too bad.
If one of your Pokémon faints, either release it or stick it in your pc, you cannot use it after that.

I kinda dislike how, despite fixing most problems from the originals, FR/LG failed to address that there are Psychic-types in the Fuchsia Gym, and Ghost-Types in the Saffron Gym.
So I added some new tags for submissions
